* still in infancy--makes me feel better because I am still quite lost on how to really use blogging with my students. Started Kidblog with my students today, but am not sure quite how this is going to work out and how I will use it productively. How will it empower my students.
Smaller district..easier to implement change. Less bureaucracy, less hoops to go through to be innovated.
Important--remember that we are learners first. How do students see teachers as a learner? Take 25 hours to devote to learn new skill...learn anything you want and document it publicly. How does learning online differ from traditional learning? Great online resources, but don't get online is a connection with a person. What does it take to learn something new? Help teacher see themselves as learners, what strategies did you use, relate to students, what struggles were faced, what successes were achieved? What a great way to help teachers be a learner!

- Star Quiz App from iTunes http://www.cosmicsoft.net/
- Socrative app--This is what I will center my part of the exploratorium around. I thought I would have them do a pre-made quiz that I have made, and then get into groups to create one of their own that we can share around the room.
