Tonight's class helped so much getting a glimpse of what our upcoming assignments are going to be like. I really enjoyed getting to connect with tonight's guest speaker--Vicki. Her enthusiasm (and accent) really made my night. As I think about PD in my school and how I will be part of it, I wonder about the time. I am barely able to keep my head above water as it is right now. The responsibilities of teaching are enormous, and now I am feeling the pressure of what may be expected of me in the future. I am willing to do my part, but I also want to have a personal life, which I barely have right now. Okay, enough whining...need to think how I can utilize technology to eliminate some of the workload. But for now, I must simply get some sleep before I come down with some ailment that I feel coming on!
When preparing lessons, be sure to consider learner styles--auditory, visual, and kinesthetic.
