Learned to write assessment first then the activity. Better connections. Having everything ready before day taught was great! AM was pilot group. For PM, made changes to how to do KWL. Powerpoint too long--used just story in PM class.

You Tube channel--Smart Songs--great place to find songs. ADDIE--The Back--fun teaching begins--implementation--taught whole unit/learned a lot! Students liked the living democracy assignment. Would add more vocabulary and post questions on social media. Students would like more articles about current issues--students debated.

What is Google docs? Need to figure out what this means. Group work--make a book on Declaration of Independence. Foldable for Bill of Rights. Had to change of his time. Evaluated each section and after each class. Used Exit ticket--to get feed back right away. Provided students feedback. Students had pride in their work--both book and foldable.

Fraction sundaes--fraction with sets. pizza fraction activity--chose benchmark to cut pizza into pieces (whole); then put toppings on pizza and determine fraction of set inside the pizza. Used smiley surveys, --30 second song for students to re-arrange desks! Awesome!
