I am a big of Clickers, so I was very excited this was tonight's topics. Though many of the concepts were a review, I did learn some exciting new (for me) tools. I am looking forward to importing the Successnet PDF tests. Even though there will be some PDF issues (graphics and mathematical symbols), I think this will speed up the creating test process. Another feature I am excited about is the new way to tag questions. I plan to customize the tags to guide me to what skills I need to reteach. I might still add the common core main categories to help me when determining grades for the report card. Tonight I also learned how about the different delivery modes. Trust me, after not using the right delivery mode, you want to select the right one to ensure the spreadsheet shows the results in a format that is best for your purposes. Otherwise, you have a lot of cutting and pasting! Another great idea I learned tonight is that students can have the hard copy of the test. They can then input their answers (but the questions don't necessarily have to be added to the Notebook). Depending on my purpose, this might be a great way to get quick results without all the work of creating the slides. (Hope this makes sense.) I know there are a lot of more "bells and whistles" in Notebook, and I can't wait to find ways to utilize them and getting assessments using Clickers!
