Wow! Class tonight was so much fun!!!! I LOVE Voice Thread! I can see how powerful it would be to have parents comment on students' stories, poems, etc! It was easy to use and fun! Still pondering how to overcome the whole email thing with third graders. Hmm? As for Glogster, I can see the potential for this; however, I want to spend more time processing how to utilize it for my students and how to use it as a teaching tool. I do want to try out animoto! Well, that's about it for now. Need to process what I'm going to create for my midterm project! :)

Ways to use with students--38 + 61--show ways to calculate-can embed into a glog project. Can upload from Garageband into voice thread. Students read their own poem and why they wrote the poem--comments can be made by peers and adults. Great way to have parents respond (especially for those working parents) at home on own time. All the comments are for that picture; go to next picture--comment on that picture. If you pay for voice thread, each student can have own account. Speech bubble--lets you know that people have commented on a voice thread. At the bottom, there are little rectangles that show what day and time comment was made.
Sharing: publishing options--check anyone to share--in order for people to see and comment on Weebly page; moderate comments to cut if inappropriate; share on voice thread page--don't check otherwise, you can modify what meets your needs--next to publishing option--embed option--copy embed code this is what we need to do for homework or use URL link.
